COVID-19 and Custody Orders

I have received many calls from individuals regarding whether or not custody orders for exchanges should be adhered to or not. Unless a court has modified your custody order you must abide by the terms of your custody order. This includes engaging in exchanges of your children.

If you believe your children are in danger due to exposure of COVID-19 or the acts of the other parent call an attorney to discuss how to file an emergency petition. My office is fully operational and both my paralegal and I are working remotely to ensure that our client's legal matters are being dealt with timely and appropriately. Please feel free to call 845-485-7530 to schedule a phone or zoom conference to address your legal matter.
