Tip of the Week

Once you receive an order from a court you have thirty days to appeal it in most situations. If you want to appeal an order do not wait or hesitate to speak to an attorney. Should you be unable to speak to an attorney to determine if you want to file an appeal be on the safe side and file for one, as this only preserves the right to engage in the appellate process. If you wait too long, then you may be barred from filing an appeal in the future.
