Each attorney works in a different manner to prepare a case for litigation.
One of the ways that I always ask my clients to help is by writing a time
line of events. This keeps the information in chronological order and
helps me to bring the sequence of events forth in a manner that makes
sense to the Court. Sometimes clients put information on the time line
of events that they do not believe is important but helps me to tie together
other allegations. Always ask your attorney if there is something you
can do to help the court make sense of your case. You never know, it might
save you lots of litigation costs with your attorney.
